Pirouette

Again what is victory you move not for me
Again a lost love haunts me till death
Again I lie to win and for awhile it works
Works well
Again I hide my truth behind guise
Again I succeed in fooling you
Again you flash horns
Again breaking us to be fixed
Again I accept what and for nothing
Again it takes poise
Which works well
Again in tenor we wait
Again we provoke which helps hurt
Again a cost what dame survives
Again if I stay I eat
Again I will sleep at night
Again awakening to the horror of real
Again I stand back to sulk a while before dying
Which works well
Again a dream suffers a fool waiting
Again alone with the knowing I have surfaced before
Again I begin counting hours to years
Again I read coarse and breed daggers
Again l let myself first to test the tooth
Which works well
Again absurd beliefs of permanence persist
Again if only you did not resist
Again amiss misses among losses
Again aghast at my post position
Again poised to settle for stable better
Again I find myself afloat and bitter
Again a lord over fellow rabble
Again I walk the path of beauties
Which works well, oh yeah
