Nothing Is Fixed

You failed today.
Are you a failure?
You succeeded last week.
Are you a success?
I ask you,
My partner,
How might we be mixed?
You are crippled tomorrow.
Because you are fixed.
When I look in the mirror,
Who do I see?
Not the same woman,
I remember as me.
Not the same image,
I endeavored to be.
Not the same mother,
Not the same friend,
Not the same human,
From beginning to end.
Just simply this,
Twisted Miss.
Thank goodness.
