Developing True Courage

Can I sit with you, Hurt?
Can I linger still while you slice
Can I smile while you scorn
Can I love while you leave
Can I take what you give
Can I sit with you, Hurt?
Time that you heard
My lioness roar
Caused by the thorn
Born by your rose

  1. Yeah, I think it is like accepting all of life and not just the warm and fuzzy. Letting all that life has in store for us and sitting with it. Pretty good!

  2. courage to face anything; all things

  3. what is true courage? facing your fears? following your dreams? standing up to people? what? is there even a specific thing or action? i do not understand how this relates exactly. it seems like you are saying “hurt” like courage is standing up to people or someone that hurt you

  4. not sure I understand this one but I do like a lot of you other stuff
