The Times

You slip past in such an honoured form.  Boy do they know you!  Born alike, and unlike, yet you are so pure a stature there; you were blessed before you spoke.  Though not like you when you speak.  When you touched down it was so easy for you to become blended and set in the past, so as I could hardly remember your name.  Too, I remember well, your face, as your eyes turned to me and smiled.  I swear my heart succeeded a passion as deep only once before this.  Thank You.

…but he was my..
and here he stands beside me
that he made a move, i..
he just casually turned my way
then the fool’s words flew
i shuttered against the break with all might
the sounds that were rolling off the curves of his beautiful mouth
there happens
he paused, then reached for me, pulling me in, until i was locked against him
he tore into me, leaving bloody traces in prints across my cheeks
and a guilty expression on my lips without a breath left
how can this moment come upon me twice
he is not too perfect, but too distant.  what have i learned
i rise to fall
but here is the tricky, this way or that proves to be neatly
the culmination of him, in verses
ripe to choose a peach begs the question, will it be me
or, will it be england

  18. Oh Pa-leeeze! Why does a woman have to be a buttoned up prude because she is married? She still has FEELINGS and DESIRES like any other woman. She can still feel good about herself when some other person besides her partner looks her direction and smiles.
Now that that’s off my chest-
