Wish You Were Here

It is the hours

Endless hours

That they exist is what seems funny

Determined length innate by now

Could wake without effort

No denying what is waiting

So that when we meet it is new

But familiar

I wish you were here

One more moon must pass before it becomes true

Senior and sincere

And source of my power

It is always great to read about love! Even the times when we are in pain over the past, or when we are uncertain about our futures. What I like about your poetry is that you are so raw and open. Not many people can put themselves out there like that. Good for you. And keep going.
