I had forgotten my lessons.

Please forgive me.

In the silence of the moment, I become reminded.

There is suffering.

I feel it has risen in me.

I feel it leaving me.

Follow me down the path.

There are gifts for you at the bottom of the mountain.

It is there that we will meet again.

I embrace you, and allow you leave.

Open to the torrential wave of impermanence.

To be tossed by the undulation of our passing present.

The warm feeling of compassion leaves you.

So that it may re-enter you again.

  1. I think this is like Noble Truths from Buddhism. I recently started reading a lot of Buddhist texts and I get a lot of comfort in the teachings with meditation. It can be so hard to get through tough times alone but if you have spirituality or something to look up to you can really be saved. Glad to see there is some solace inbetween suffering.

  2. This really is beautiful.
