Quantum Vanessa

Always the wettest night in May
Leaves puddles deep enough to drown
I have seen the hurt last in your eyes
What a clever way to swim

As I weave through life all I ever hear
Is you calling love by my name
I do not care how many roads
You are more than enough

We are two spinning out through space
What kind of man could take your place
Just when my heart was in your hands
You went and left me here again

All of my ghosts sing years have past
But this silly girl keeps looking back
You thought there was no one left for you
And you could not see me lying here

How do you live you life on another plane
And love your life with me
When cause is what we are searching for
We affect everything we need

On s’aime comme ça mon amour et moi
What kind of love could take your place
Just when my heart was in your hands
You went and left me
