West

Hop on that plane again

There goes my best friend

Lost without you

Night sounds the horn of that train

Scream for hours in vein

One more night without you

Growing a Poppy

To lull you to sleep

Slip in a love letter

Next to those that you keep

Counting up moons

That hold us apart

Never believed in prayer

Guess I should start

For when you board that plane again

For when you kiss goodbye your friend

A ghost without you

She covers her head in vein

To block out the horn of that train

She is bound to you

For when her flower blooms

For when what nature consumes

Brings back down to earth

A special birth

Like a melody
